Talk to a humanRough guide: 2GB is fine for vanilla or a light plugin server with a few friends, and 4GB gives you room for more plugins and a small mod list. These are estimates, not guarantees, and mod count matters more than player count. Big modpacks want more memory than either plan gives you, so we don't sell you one and hope. If you're not sure, tell us your pack and we'll say honestly which tier you need, including when it's the cheaper one or when we're not the right host for it yet.
Fabled Hosting is run by one person, so your message goes straight to me instead of into a queue. In practice that means fast replies when I'm awake and a wait when I'm not. I'm not going to quote you a guaranteed response time I can't hold overnight. What I will do is actually get into the config with you rather than send a knowledge base link.
Yes. Send us your world folder, mods and configs and we'll get you set up on this end at no charge. To be straight with you: we can't pull it out of your old host automatically, because most hosts don't offer any way to do that. You'll need to download your files from their panel first. If you're not sure how, message us and we'll walk you through where to click.
Servers auto-restart on crash, and backups run daily so a bad mod update is a rollback rather than a lost world. Our infrastructure provider is independently monitored between 99.7% and 100% over 30 to 90 day windows, which is where the 99.9% figure comes from. Our own service history is shorter than that, so treat it as the floor rather than a promise. If something breaks on our side you'll hear it from us first, not from your players.
No. One monthly price, billed monthly, cancel whenever. Backups, the full panel and unlimited player slots are included on every tier. We don't sell you back features you'd assume were standard, and we don't run a "premium support" upgrade. There's one kind of support here.
Yes. Message us to move up or down a tier and your world, mods, configs and IP stay exactly as they are. It takes a restart, and there's nothing for you to re-upload. Changing tier mid-cycle is prorated, so you only pay the difference for the days remaining.
